Five Minute Ride Formed in 2002, they signed to an indie based label out of Sacramento called 720 Records. Their next step was their release of their first EP entitled Bathroom Walls.....Lipstick Secrets. They have built a huge fan base, having played consistent shows from Oakland to San Jose and Sacramento. After losing bandmate Alex in August of 2003, the band has plunged forward in keeping Alex's dreams, and theirs alive. Through the healing process, they have kept their drive and strength up through their fans, close friends and family members. These guys deserve the utmost respect for never giving up. Now that's what I call passion!! The nomination they got for the Sacramento SAMMIE 2005 award for Best Hard Rock/Metal band was definitely well deserved.
