Nuclear Starting in the winter of 1999, Nuclear was formed when three high school students decided they wanted to play at a local talent show. Since then, the band has worked hard to build themselves into a talented act that is more than just a garage band. Nuclear also played 107.9 The End's Big Break Contest, where they placed second out of over 100 opposing bands. Their Rock/Alternative sound, with a flare of pop and punk has made this band a favorite with fans. They were also nominated as Best Pop Band for the Sacramento SAMMIE 2005 Award and are featured on Sac Rocks Volume 11.
