SAMMIES 2010 The 18th annual series of events are hosted by Sacramento News and Review and feature some of the areas best musicians in a variety of musical categories. Showcase Events will take place at venues in Sacramento in September so music fans can vote for their favorites. The SAMMIES Block Party is on the R Street Corridor on Saturday, October 9th. The Free All Ages event includes a great line-up of musicians including The Nickel Slots - Storytellers - The New Humans - Goodness Gracious Me - DLRN from Tribe of Levi - Tais Izreal - Random Abiladeze - DJ Rated R - Mike Colossal and many more nominees for SAMMIE Awards, and all kinds of cool activities.
